​Claudina Garcia is a registered psychologist with 14 years of experience providing assessment and treatment to adolescents and adults experiencing mental health issues.  Claudina graduated in the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina with a Bachelor Degree in Psychology in 1997 and has been fully registered in Australia since 2002.
Claudina completed the Masters of Psychology (Counselling Psychologist) in 2015 at Swinburne University. Claudina has worked for over 7 years in a public hospital in the field of Alcohol and Drug Addictions with adolescents and adults. She has worked with homeless people with dual diagnosis (Mental Health and Substance Abuse) and she prepared and delivered training to Mental Health practitioners working with Dual Diagnosis clients. She also worked in a private psychiatric hospital running groups with patients with severe anxiety and depression in an inpatient ward as well as conducting individual assessment and treatment.
Claudina completed family therapy training and has worked in private practice with individuals; couples and families with relationship problems since 2007.
Claudina speaks Spanish and welcomes the Spanish community to access treatment in their native language.
